About Bruno Figueiredo

I was born in 1975 in Lisbon and I graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning. Yet, since my first year at University, I have been working in Internet and Multimedia companies, developing interfaces for web sites and applications. I now own my own company, “Ideias e Imagens“, helping other businesses to develop more efective interfaces for their applications.

After graduation I lectured an Urban Systems class for three years in the Technical University of Lisbon. While there, I developed a passion for Usability and User Experience that led me as co-editor of Usabilidade.com - the largest Portuguese website on Usability - and later as President of the Portuguese Usability Professionals Association that I helped to establish.

I have also been a Computer Trainer since 1998. That lead me to write a book, “Web Design - Structure, Design and Production of Web Sites“, one of the best selling portuguese books on the subject, with more than 3.000 copies sold.

I am passionate about technology and specially interested on how we interact with it.
