About Hugo Neves da Silva

I was born in Pombal in 1978 but have lived in Lisbon, Portugal, since 1996.

I graduated in Public Relations and Advertising. I have worked in projects of organizational communication, and more recently in projects of new technologies and e-government, especially in citizen relationship management projects and online services to citizens.

At the moment I’m also doing a Masters in Communication, Organization and New Technologies, where I’m doing a thesis paper about weblogs and their importance in the new web.

I'm also the author of “lisbonlab – lab of ideas, studies, experiences and reflections”, which aims to be my space of ideas, studies, experiences and reflections about new technologies, communication and people, specially about new technologies centered in people and the important role that it play in our daily life.

Last but not least, I have a passion for new technologies, especially about the web and the social movement Web 2.0 which I believe will revolutionize our social relations and our interaction with technology.
